VERSION 1.6 NOW RELEASED

dhIMG TwitterdhIMG Twitter is a free program that works on pretty much any computer running Microsoft Windows and allows you to download the images from a Twitter profile easily. This tool can be extremely handy if you are wanting to backup your Twitter profile and don't wish to save every image manually.

Features

- Small program size
- Standalone application (no need to install)
- Quick downloading/backing up of Twitter images
- Always the highest quality picture downloaded
- Set where your downloads goto

Instructions

Upon downloading dhIMG Twitter, you will need to extract the ZIP file (right-click and goto "Extract All"), then you can double-click the program ("dhIMG Twitter.exe") and launch it.

In Step 1, you will need to enter the username of the Twitter account you're wanting to save the images from. Only use the name and nothing else! (Note: This application will NOT work on locked accounts, so you will need to unlock your account for it to work on your own account!)
dhIMG Twitter

Once you've got the Twitter profile name and entered it into the name box, choose the maximum amount of images you want downloading and then click on the "Find Images..." button. This will take only a few moments and will find the images and prompt you that it has found the images once it's complete.

Now you will need to move onto Step 2, which is where you must specify where you want the images to be saved to - which you can do by clicking the "Save to..." button and selecting a folder.

Once you have selected a folder, then you can hit "RUN!" and sit back whilst the program does its magic. You will be prompted once again when all the images have been downloaded and the folder will automatically open.

Note: Duplicate images are NOT downloaded, so if you select "40" images and only 36 are downloaded, this means that 4 duplicates were found and not downloaded.

Current Version

The latest version of dhIMG Twitter is version 1.0, which was released on 11th March 2014.

The latest version of dhIMG Twitter is version 1.1, which was released on 17th July 2014.

Hi! Great program! I was wondering if it were possible to download from the favorites. I favorite a lot of pictures that I like and it would be nice to download them all at once. I'll keep spreading the word about your great program!

I haven't thought about downloading images from your favourites list, but I will see what I can do in a future version. :)

Awesome program, but is there a technical reason for limiting the downloads to 1000 images?
By CoolBruh

wow - No probs. :)

Dhafing - Thank you for using my program. :)

KEI TOKUNAGA - Lost for words? ;)

Luis Ramos - Thank you very much! :)

? - The limit is to avoid problems coming from Twitter's side, mostly because Twitter gives limit errors/warnings.

Chet - Thanks! :D

CoolBruh - Thank you. :) The reason for the 1,000 images limit is because Twitter usually times out when trying to retrieve more than 1,000 (causing dhIMG Twitter to crash). I am looking at ways of getting around this limit for the next version.

doesnt seem to work for me... after typing in a name, it gets stuck "finding" forever, never allowing me to chose a location or "RUN!". At first i thought I just needed to wait, but after leaving it for a few hours, its still there. This is even with the lowest, 20 picture setting

I'm currently using another program which allows me to download over 3000 images at a time. But even that is not enough. I need to download about 70 000 images (why? I'm currently training my DNN AI and I need a lot of visual input to get better accuracy for my current project).

Hey! If I ask the limit is up to 1000. Can you change it?
