A few hours ago Channel 4 showed off on YouTube what their creative team, 4Creative, have got up to for the start of the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. And being Channel 4 - notable for many years of LGBT related programmes - they decided to go gay with their promo.

I was randomly searching on Google Images for a picture earlier and casually saw a picture that was a badly photoshopped version of Boris Johnson's head on a females body - I believe it was something to do with the London Olympics last year.
It wasn't until I opened the image that I immediately collapsed on the floor with laughter!
The people who think this type of stuff up are stuff of legends!
Normally the world's eyes are always on Sydney, Australia's fireworks when it comes to the New Year, however I believe the display from the Aussie's this year wasn't upto scratch. It was very "spaced out" and patchy and there wasn't so much of the iconic bridge being used either - though I did notice the beautiful golden waterfall effect, that was beautiful. However it seemed this years winner was without a doubt here on our home turf, London.

I am starting to feel really sorry for Tom Daley at the moment, not only does he have a massive amount of pressure on his shoulders with the Olympics, but then the other day the Reece (Rileyy_69) situation and now it's been mentioned today that a footballer, Daniel Thomas who plays for Port Talbot Town FC has been suspended after sending a homophobic tweet to Tom.
The tweet that was sent to Tom Daley from Daniel Thomas read:

Yesterday the Twittersphere was booming with the usual Olympic tweets along with various messages of support for, in particular, Tom Daley. Tom and his diving partner Pete Waterfield performed their synchronised dives, but sadly failed to clinch a medal (Good on them for trying! Excellent work from both).
