The BBC iPlayer is brilliant for catching up on anything you've missed on TV or Radio over the past month and it's very easy to navigate and use. However for me and I'm guessing quite a few other people too, if you've got a computer/laptop that's a couple of years old then when you're watching something on the iPlayer it lags, stutters and then goes on a mental buffering style loop whilst causing your computer to run at 100% CPU. It's highly annoying.

Since we've moved to our new address, we've been having nothing but problems with our internet service. We were told that we'd get the same speeds as we did at the old house as soon as we moved into the new house, well as you may have guessed, we didn't. We usually got speeds of 9-10Mbps at the old house and now we're at the new house, we're lucky to get 600Kbps! (Yes, 0.6Mbps!) Which sadly isn't enough to watch anything on YouTube, BBC iPlayer - let alone listen to the radio online either.
Wow! I've just been watching BBC Horizon on the iPlayer and have really learned something amazing. Other than finally understanding about all the usual mathematics that you learn in school when doing geometry (1 dimension - a line, 2 dimensions - a square, 3 dimensions - a cube) ... I'm starting to believe the theory of the 4th dimension.
