Eh, see what I did there... COM to ME (Come To Me) ... ahhh I'm a clever fucker. Anyways, yes, after scouting around frantically for a backup of my database for dalehay.com, I came across an old one and then just had to get all the stories that weren't in it from the Internet Archive. Thank goodness I didn't put a block on it.
So, at the moment some pages will have images missing (I'm still scouting for them) and other than that it's all the same really ... oh shit, yeah one main thing, I couldn't get the .COM back... [read more]
If you're playing Chris Sawyer's excellent game, Locomotion on Windows Vista or Windows 7, then you may experience after a minute or so ingame, that all the colours go all purple and green. Don't worry though, don't uninstall the game or chuck it away - you can still play it!
The problem is caused by the way Windows Vista and Windows 7 deliver the colour palette and if (like many) you have an image or a slideshow desktop background, then this is what's causing your problem. Oh and if you have any ideas... [read more]

Once games fall into the open source type of license then they usually get modified by the gaming community and made into better versions. These are then usually released on developers websites.
One game that has really been modified a lot and released - which I remember playing this game years ago and loved it - was Warzone 2100. I used to play it on PSX ("Playstation") and loved the game, then when I found out - via WikiPedia... [read more]
