Well yesterday I had the delight of visiting BBC Coventry & Warwickshire for a radio interview with the lovely Annie Othen about my Pectus Excavatum. Now if you listen to the interview (which is available on the BBC iPlayer here until next Wednesday [6th March] - I'm on just after about 2hrs) or you can listen to my segment below (no time limit), you will notice one thing... which I totally didn't think I was doing, however my Brother and The Mother both told me about it, which is that I kept saying "erm" so many times.
Upon listening back to it, yeah, I seemed to have said it about a million and one times, though the reason for this was that I was mesmerised by the countdown on Annie's main screen and then also the people walking by outside, oh and mainly -obviously- my nerves. Though looking past all the "erms", I think I did OK. As you can see from the screenshot of my text messages... a fairly direct Mother I seem to have.
Well, that just leaves me to say a huge thank you to BBC Coventry and Warwickshire, to Annie for interviewing me, to Victoria for arranging the interview and also to the handful of very friendly staff that were there when I visited. Really enjoyed my time there. :)
