Last year on Twitter, I started to randomly tweet little puzzles for my followers to play along with, which they did receive a good reception. The main one I used to play was #SWYS ("Say What You See"), where I'd post a picture that has various items on it and you have to guess what the word is. (For example: I'll post a picture of a muscle man, next to an image of a bow and arrow ... and the answer would be? Yes, the cider drink, Strongbow). Besides the Say What You See games, I also did try a... []

I have decided to get with the times and update my site from the original grey and dull looking theme that seems alright on desktops, laptops and tablets and make a more "modern" looking theme which is also responsive too, so that if you're viewing on a mobile phone or any other small screen, it'll fit nicely and save you from having to pinch-and-zoom on every page.

So, it's a goodbye from this:

And, hello to this:

Also, there may be the odd few problems that may occur around the site because of the change in style, but if you do... []

Bebo relaunched recently and it is no longer the social network site it used to be - which was once full of crappy games in Iframes, awfully sized pictures and loads of glittery sparkly love heart GIFs along with messages of "ur mi bby luke luv u 4eva n eva luv destiny xxxxxxxxxxxx" ... ugh.

It's now just another messaging app (like WhatsApp or KiK or Facebook's Messenger or that one that everyone seems to have forgot about... you know... where you can send each other a message... yes, that's the one, plain bog-standard SMS Messaging). However Bebo have... []

If you're someone who knows me well enough, you'd know I have an interest with the weather (and to some extent other natural disasters too), so yesterday I got bored and usually when I get bored random ideas pop into my head, and one did so, of which I think would be of use to a majority of the online UK WX scene. Ok, so maybe not so at this time of year, but definitely during the year it may be quite handy.

The main reason this idea popped into my head, was because earlier this year when various storms were... []

BT Advert Con

The past couple of weeks when watching the odd few things on TV, I've noticed another advert from BT - you know the ones, the storyline type ones with those two lads and a woman. Well, in this advert the lads had a mate around watching Breaking Bad on Netflix, and says:

Lad 1: "Well we did it"
Lad 2: "Two days solid"
Mate: "Yep"
Lad 1: "Breaking Bad, done!"

That immediately got me gobbing off to myself (as I wasn't around other people when I first watched the advert *starts playing All By Myself*), the reason for me gobbing off... []

On Tuesday (21st October 2014) a handful of news websites started running stories along with this image, saying it was a picture taken by Adam Wright of a tornado in Burton.

According to one article on the Burton Mail website, Adam had mentioned "Me and my mate Rich Walton were driving from my house in Stretton to B&Q at about 7:30am", so this happened fairly early in the morning.

Upon first looking at the picture you can clearly see a nice looking tornado and that the picture can clearly... []

I only posted two days ago about checking your sources. I bet these people wished they did now after a week of retweet (RT) based goofs, where one tweeter would ask a celebrity to RT their picture of a certain "family member" - but instead of including a real image of said family member, they decide to use various "other" images.

As you can see below, a load have fooled them and they've gone on to retweet them - however after various replies like "he's britains most notorious paedophile", etc.. the said retweets were un-retweeted. Here's... []

The internet these days is a weird and wonderful place, however what's real and what's not is usually a problem for many folk to decipher, especially since the popularisation of Photoshop. Which is why I always like to check my sources (if available) before believing something.

However, a lot of places didn't check their sources with this story. It went viral Tuesday with various websites carrying it with various titles like "Cheerleader Takes Dump On Teammates In Mid-Air", as you can see in this article.

Check Your Sources

It didn't take long to do the rounds on Facebook, Instagram... []

For a lot of men around the world, yesterday was like all of their Christmas mornings coming (literally) together at once, thanks to a hacker who has been able to breach the security surrounding Apple's iCloud and harvest pictures and videos from various high profiled celebrities accounts and release them online.

At first, the anonymous (not the decent group Anonymous) hacker was at first basically given the middle finger by many people who didn't believe him/her that this had been done, so the hacker responded by posting a preview screenshot.

Met Office No Adverts

A handy free app supplied by the United Kingdom's main weather folk, which allows us Brit's to see the up coming weather along with some precipitation overlays. Though this app does come with a banner at the bottom of the screen - which even though it's only small, it still annoys me. Here's yet another simple/piss easy way of getting rid of it.

- Jailbroken iPhone
- Flex 2
- Met Office App (Dur!)

What To Do:
** I am hoping you have some basic knowledge of Flex? **

1) Add (+) a new App and choose... []
