So not only this week have I said goodbye to a 7 year old friend, Google Chrome, but now I have officially said goodbye to a longer - 13 year old - friend, Windows XP.

Yes, I have finally took the jump and moved away from XP, well on my main laptop that is. My computer still happily runs Windows 2000 (NOT Windows ME - don't get confused, one's good one shite) and my other 3 laptops run Windows XP too.

So why did I change? Well I do love XP and without a doubt, it was the best... []

All good things must come to an end and no more so than Google's web browser, Chrome. Yes, this morning at 6:22am, I decided that I would have to say goodbye to what was once the best web browser without a doubt.

Goodbye Google Chrome

So why did I uninstall it?

Well when I first swapped to using Chrome the main thing that appealed to me was how quickly it loaded, didn't use much RAM and webpages loaded really quickly. Fast forward a few years and after every new release of Chrome, you could tell it was getting to heavy... []

I do enjoy the odd rumour, that could actually be true, and no more so than a local one in a village a short distance from me called Polesworth.

So what's the rumour?

Well, earlier on I got a text message from The Mother saying she's heard that Robbie Williams had a few drinks around the pubs in Polesworth and also has purchased Pooley Hall (the home of the late Edwin Starr). Now normally I don't listen to rumours and gossip because if I did then Cher would be living just around the corner and I'd also be a coke-head (don't ask).... []

If like myself earlier, you try sending a picture along with a tweet using the official Twitter app for Android and it sometimes doesn't send, but also doesn't give you a "Failed to send Tweet" error, you'll be familiar with "Sending Tweet..." being stuck on your dropdown thing.

Sending Tweet... Stuck On Android

Sadly, it doesn't disappear when you stop Twitter's process (in the "Running Services" option in your Settings) and you can't swipe it away (well, depends if your version of Android allows you or not) and this is a problem I have noticed all around the internet on... []

I did upload this to YouTube, but after five minutes of it being up, FremantleMedia whacked worldwide block on it. Kinda of stupid, but hey-ho, here it is anyways - my shitty attempt at "dubbing" for you folks to see.

If you're wondering why I did it, it's because everyone seems to liken James Arthur to Sloth (from The Goonies)

Fox45

Every few nights I sit and watch a few feeds from America and I'm still surprised at how annoying it is trying to watch a programme over there.

Pretty much anything and everything is sponsored. When they show the weather forecast, it's sponsored, when a programme finishes, its closed-captions (subtitles) are also sponsored. Also most of these sponsored messages and normal commercials are constantly cut-short. If that happened here in the UK, advertisers would go mental!

Talking of commercials, for the BBC channels, we don't get mid-show commercials, but other channels either have one after 5 minutes, then 25... []
